Day 1
Day 1 -- Santa Fe, NM
Arrive in Albuquerque, New Mexico by early
afternoon. Meet with the group and head to
Santa Fe to settle into delightful
southwestern accommodations in walking
distance to the historic Plaza. Tonight,
enjoy a brief trip orientation with your
guides, followed by a welcome dinner at a
local restaurant.

Day 2 Day 2 -- Santa Fe, NM
Today, visit the cliff-house ruins at
Bandelier National Monument in the morning,
followed by lunch at a favorite local
restaurant. In the afternoon, explore San
Ildefonso Pueblo, noted for its beautiful
setting and famous pottery. Here, learn how
these peoples incorporate ancient traditions
into their modern-day lives. At day's end,
gather for dinner at another flavorful Santa
Fe restaurant.

Day 3 Day 3 -- Santa Fe, NM
This morning, enjoy a to visit the
Institute of American Indian Arts Museum, and
time to explore shops and galleries in
vibrant downtown Santa Fe. This afternoon,
take to the hills for a scenic hike in the
mountains surrounding Santa Fe. Afterwards,
relax at a mountain spa in hot tubs reserved
exclusively for our group. Dinner tonight at
one of Santa Fe's finest.

Day 4 Days 4 -- Taos, NM
Experience a vibrant feast day at a nearby
pueblo. Feast days are festive ceremonies
celebrated with dancing, food, and rituals
symbolizing a tribe's connection to ancestral
beginnings. In June, enjoy the celebrations
of the Corn Dance feast days at Tesuque
Pueblo. In September, Taos Pueblo celebrates
San Geronimo Day with a traditional pole
climb. This evening, enjoy a reception at
the home of a local artist.

Day 5 Day 5 -- Taos, NM
Pass the morning floating the scenic Rio
Grande through basalt cliffs and groves of
cottonwood trees. End with lunch at the
historic Embudo Station, an 1880's narrow
gauge railroad station and now a lively
brewpub. Enjoy a free afternoon to browse
the shops and museums in Taos. Gather this
evening for a celebratory dinner at one of
Taos' finest restaurants.

Day 6

Day 6 -- Depart from Albuquerque
Depart this morning for Albuquerque to
catch flights home. In October, choose to
extend your guided journey with a visit to
Chaco Culture National Historic Park and the
vibrant Northern Navajo Nation Fair in
Shiprock.
