Day
1 -- Columbia Falls
Arrive in Kalispell, Montana and
head to a
comfortable resort located between
Glacier
National Park and the charming mountain
town of Whitefish. Settle into spacious
condominium accommodations and freshen
up with a dip in the swimming pool!
Gather for a trip orientation and
a delicious barbecue dinner this evening
with your guides and other family
guests.

Day
2 --Glacier National Park
Explore the spectacular and winding
Going-To-The-Sun road for views of the
majestic mountain ranges and sparkling
glaciers. Walk through abundant wildflowers
to the overlook of Hidden Lake and learn
how the mountains of Glacier National
Park were made and then shaped by eons
of water and ice. View mountain goats,
elk, bear and other exciting wildlife
with spotting scopes, and learn to identify
the tracks of all the
park's wildlife with knowledgeable guides.
Return to Meadow Lake with time to relax
before a casual dinner in nearby Whitefish.

Day
3 -- Horseback Riding
Another great day for exploring!
This morning, enjoy a scenic drive
along the
Flathead River that forms the southern
perimeter of Glacier National Park.
At an
authentic Montana ranch, saddle up
for a
horseback trail ride into the remote
Great
Bear Wilderness area, stopping for
a pleasant picnic lunch in the open
meadows. Afterwards, continue on to
East Glacier and the Blackfeet Indian
Reservation, where we enjoy singing,
storytelling and a traditional evening
meal at an authentic teepee camp.

4 |
Day
4 -- Middle Fork of the Flathead
River
Pack your overnight bags for a
journey on
the wild and scenic Middle Fork of
the
Flathead River! Run exciting class
II and III rapids, and then sit back
and relax while
taking in the calm and scenic sections
of the river with opportunities for
wildlife
viewing, fishing and;for especially
warm-blooded folks;swimming! Inflatable
kayaks are available for those wanting
to
paddle their own craft for a section
or two.
Enjoy a delicious campfire dinner,
share
stories about the day, and search
for the
Milky Way before retiring to a snug
tent and
warm sleeping bags.

5 |
Day
5 -- River Rafting and Hiking
After a hearty camp breakfast, hop
aboard
the rafts for another day of whitewater
rafting, with side hikes into the southern
portion of Glacier National Park! After
another full day on the river, we head
back
to our waiting accommodations, arriving
just
in time for showers, dinner and a relaxing
evening.

Day
6 --Sea Kayaking / Big Mountain
Paddle a stable sea kayak along
the placid
waters of Ashley Creek this morning,
while
viewing wildlife and waterfowl. We head
to
Big Mountain Resort for a picnic lunch
and
some lively croquet, before a gondola
ride to
the top of the mountain for our final
views
of Glacier's mountain peaks and a fun
downhill-all-the-way hike. Enjoy a going-away
get together and dinner in Whitefish.

Day
8 -- Depart for Home
Say goodbye to new friends and catch
morning or mid-day flights home from
the
Glacier International Airport in Kalispell.
