Your Daily Itinerary
Day 1
Day 1 -- Port Townsend
Fly into Seattle arriving by early afternoon to meet your guides. Ferry to the Olympic Peninsula and charming Port Townsend for a welcome orientation and dinner in this charming seaside village.
Accommodations: Bishop Victorian Hotel
Day 2 Day 2 -- Port Angeles / Olympic Nat'l Park
Head out after breakfast for an invigorating hike along the magnificent Dungeness Spit. Seven miles long, this spit and the surrounding bay and estuary are teeming with seals and seabirds, and tidal
pools rich with small creatures. This afternoon, sea kayak along the beautifully rugged and rocky shoreline on the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Also look for bald eagles, harbor seals, river and sea otters and maybe even a whale. This evening, enjoy dinner at
our lakefront accommodations outside of Port
Angeles.

Day 3 Day 3 -- Port Angeles / Olympic Nat'l Park
The high country of Olympic beckons today
to explore the alpine meadows and spectacular
views of Hurricane Ridge. Surrounded on three
sides by water and crowned by glaciers, this
craggy landscape offers a variety of hikes
along sub-alpine ridgelines and through open
meadows. Enjoy simultaneous views of glacier
ice and saltwater ways. Choose your
destination: stop to relax and swim at scenic
Lake Angeles or continue on for views from
rocky Klahhane Ridge. Afterwards, relax back
at the lodge and enjoy another lakefront
dinner.

Day 4 Day 4 -- Victoria, BC, and Butchart Gardens
Ferry across the Strait of Juan de Fuca to
explore historic and charming Victoria, on
the coastline of Vancouver Island, and to
allow leg muscles to recover from yesterday's
hike! Stroll through Butchart Gardens'
55-acres of floral display and winding
trails, then enjoy high tea in this quaint
British-influenced city, tour the Parliament
Buildings and visit the fascinating Royal
British Columbia Museum. This evening, return
by ferry to Port Angeles for dinner at one of
the finest restaurants in town.

Day 5 Day 5 -- Kalaloch / Hoh Rain Forest
Your guides lead you into the Hoh Rain
Forest today, a lush primeval valley with
towering trees and rich carpets of moss and
ferns. Hike along the Hoh River to observe
and enjoy the diverse plant communities found
here. After a picnic lunch, raft down the Hoh
River with its fascinating geology and rain
forest views. Tonight, relax, watch the surf,
and enjoy a dramatic sunset from our ocean
front accommodations on the Pacific.

Day 6 Day 6 -- Lake Quinault
After a final hike along the Pacific
coastline, leave the ocean behind, heading up
the lovely Queets River valley, stopping for
short hikes and to embrace the park's largest
Douglas Fir tree. This afternoon, hike along
the North Fork of the Quinault River, or
choose to canoe or kayak on Lake Quinault, a
beautiful glacier-carved lake. Relax at
historic Lake Quinault Lodge and enjoy a
final evening with your guides and fellow
travelers.

Day 7 Day 7 -- Depart from Seattle
Bid farewell to the Pacific rainforests,
mountains and coastline and journey to
Seattle to catch mid-day flights home.
