1 -- Chico Hot Springs
Travel from Bozeman to settle
into this
historic lodge at Chico Hot Springs.
Soak in
the natural spring-fed swimming pool
to
relax, then gather for a trip orientation
and
a delicious dinner in the acclaimed
restaurant.

2 |
Day
2 -- Chico Hot Springs
On the first full day of fun in
Montana,
all of the group members will enjoy
fishing
and floating on the famous Yellowstone
River. The fishing should be excellent
for people of all experience levels,
with instruction available for novices.
Grasshoppers will tempt the big fish
to the surface, providing exciting action
for beginners and seasoned pros alike.
After a great day on the river, we'll
return for another relaxing night.

3 |
Day
3 -- Yellowstone Nat'l Park
Group members will have their
choice of
wade fishing the premier waters of
Yellowstone's Slough Creek, Soda Butte
Creek, the Lamar River, or a hosted
tour of the Park's thermal features,
waterfalls, wildlife and hiking trails
with a naturalist guide. The group
will reconvene for dinner at
Roosevelt Lodge to swap stories of
the day's adventures.

4 |
Day
4 -- Yellowstone National Park
Everyone will spend the morning
experiencing the silence and freedom
of
kayaking on a deep, clear lake in
the heart
of Yellowstone. Paddle along Lake
Yellowstone's scenic shoreline, in
view of
natural wonders of geysers, hot springs
and
mud pots erupting and spilling over
into the
lake. During the afternoon, explore
Old
Faithful's upper geyser basin, filled
with
colorful hot springs and thundering
fumaroles in addition to the famous
geysers. At day's end, relax on the
front porch of the historic Lake Hotel
before dinner.

Day
5 -- Ennis, MT
Departing Yellowstone early in the
morning, we travel through the open
meadows of the wildlife-rich Lamar Valley,
scoping for bison, elk and wolves along
the way to our afternoon destination
of the trout
capital city of Ennis. Today group members
can chose to fish the legendary upper
section of the Madison River with experienced
guides or enjoy an exhilarating hike
in the southern Madison mountain range
with our host. We will reconvene at
the Rainbow Valley Motel, get freshened
up and enjoy a fabulous dinner at the
Continental Divide restaurant.

6 |
Day
6 -- Red Lodge
Spend the day either fishing on
the
Madison River with guides or go horseback
riding with a 4th generation Montana
cowboy. Become a cowgirl (or boy) for
the day. Fishermen (and women) will
meet the range riders at Beardsley's
ranch, which overlooks the spectacular
Madison Valley, for a farewell BBQ dinner.
As the sunsets and the evening adjourns,
we will wind our way back down the mountain
for the final evening in Montana.

7 -- Depart for Home
Depart Ennis for the short journey to
Bozeman for mid-day flights home.
