Day1

Day 1 -- Chico Hot Springs
Travel from Bozeman to settle into this
historic hot springs resort. Relax in the
natural spring-fed swimming pool, then gather for a trip orientation and a delicious dinner in the acclaimed restaurant.

Day 2 Day 2 -- Heading into the Backcountry
After an early breakfast at Chico and a
scenic drive through the northern corner of
Yellowstone National Park, we will meet Tim
Beardsley and his experienced crew at the
Lamar River trailhead. Everyone will have
time to get acquainted with their horse and
then we will bid farewell to pavement as we
begin the voyage into the Upper Lamar Valley. Our ride into the first camp will take about four hours.

Backcountry Camp
Day 3,4,5

Day 3, 4, 5 -- Yellowstone Backcountry
Everyday group members will have their
choice of wade fishing the fabled upper
waters of Yellowstone's Lamar River for
Rainbow and Cutthroat Trout, horseback
riding, hiking, or just relaxing around camp
with a good book...all the while taking in
fresh mountain air and spectacular scenery.
The group will reconvene each night at camp
for delicious meals and camaraderie around
the campfire.

Day 6

Day 6 -- Bozeman
After five full days of adventure in the
backcountry, we will pull the stakes of camp
and return to the creature comforts of
civilization. The group will be shuttled from
the Lamar River trailhead to Bozeman where we will freshen up at the hotel rooms and
reconvene for a farewell dinner at our
favorite restaurant in Bozeman.

Day 7 Day 7 -- Depart for Home
Depart Bozeman for the trip homewards.
