First
make sure you have a small tackle box that is easy to get in and out of. These
are available at just about any store that sells fishing tackle and run anywhere
from $10 to $50. Just about any tackle box will do just make sure it has lots
of compartments, that it stores well so you do not have to worry about your tackle
coming out. Make sure it is easy to use. The last thing you want to do is fight
with your tackle box rather than fight with the the fish.
Once
you have a tackle box you will need some terminal tackle.

be fishing on or near the bottom for fish that when hooked, make a mad dash for
the closest cover. One thing that stands true is YOU WILL LOSE TACKLE. Nothing
is worse than running out of an essential item and having to cut your trip short.
