These
are the most common errors that occur when setting up and using
both Outlook Express and Outlook. We have included these suggested
solutions to help you quickly get back receiving emai. If these
do not fix your problems with Outlook Express or Outlook you can

Outlook Express Errors
Error:
There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password
was rejected. Account: '205.162.184.20', Server: '205.162.184.20',
Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR authorization failed', Port:
110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92
Fix:
Check to make sure that the incoming mail server is spelled correctly
and in lowercase letters. Make sure your mail server account name
is set as username%domain.net and that it is in all lowercase as
well. Also verify and match email password and make sure SPA (Secure
Password Authentication) isn't being used.
Error:
Unable to logon to the server using Secure Password Authentication.
Account: '205.162.184.20', Server: '205.162.184.20', Protocol: POP3,
Server Response: '-ERR authorization first', Port: 110, Secure(SSL):
No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18
Fix:
Verify that SPA (Secure Password Authentication) isn't being used.
Error:
The host 'YOUR HOST HERE' could not be found. Please verify that
you have entered the server name correctly. Account: '205.162.184.20',
Server: 'YOUR HOST HERE', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL):
No, Socket Error: 11001, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D
Fix:
Check to see if the server is typed correctly with lowercase letters.
Are you connected? Can the you surf? Can you ping out by NAME or
IP? If can ping by IP but not by NAME, check DNS in your network
settings. If you cannot ping by NAME or IP, then restore the TCP/IP
in the Network Stack.
Error:
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following
addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't
work out.

Fix:
This error has only one cause. It originates from our mail server
upon recieving a request to send e-mail through a SMTP mail server
when you are not connected with that specific ISP. You are connected,
or online, with another ISP. In order to resolve this error you
must get the Outgoing ( SMTP ) server from your current ISP and
input it.
