The Outdoor Adventure Network!® (OAN!) was first conceived in February 1997 and put on-line in May of that same year as an on-line/Internet outdoor information service. Our web site is phase one of a six phase project to create three dimensional presentations on the great outdoors. We are focusing our energies at adventure travel, backpacking, biking, camping, climbing, fishing, hunting/shooting, paddling, and scuba diving enthusiast as well as a special focus on the Outdoor Woman and our Young Outdoorsman™ program.

The Outdoor Adventure Network!® is a division of Cornerstone Media Group, Inc., an outdoor-sports marketing and multi-media production company that works within the recreational outdoor industry primarily in fishing and hunting. Having developed a reputation over the last ten years in the fishing and hunting industry, Outdoor Technology saw the opportunity to expand into other outdoor markets. The Internet's existing on-line community of outdoor enthusiast has been our focus in phase one of bringing outdoor information to people like you in a central location.

Our objective overall is to build the largest, most comprehensive dynamic outdoor adventure, learning and information site on the web. With the help of innovative technology we will provide you with information, the Outdoor Adventure College™, live seminars, contests, guide and outfitter sources, lodge and resort locations, jargon (terminology), reference material and much, much more.
