Guidelines & Tips
Some
things for you to consider as you look to join our team of Experts:
- We
review all submissions and may edit them for length or content.
While there is no guarantee that your review or outdoor tip will
be published, we publish over 75% of the information we receive.
- Please
provide your full name, first name or e-mail name with your review
or outdoor tip. We only publish reviews that include a name.
- Your
review can be as long as you like. If it's really detailed and
informative, we may run it as a feature in a department in our
section called The Experts. In
that case we will probably ask you for a photo.
- If
you run a business that would benefit from exposure in OAN!, please
learn about our advertising
programs. Unlike the reviews, OAN! advertising programs
incorporate links to your business website and e-mail address
and much more!
- We
do publish negative reviews, but a large majority of the reviews
we receive are positive.
- We
do not publish negative comments about individuals. We gladly
publish positive comments about individuals.
- Copyright
for all submissions published in MyOAN! is retained by the author,
with the exception that MyOAN! reserves the rights to archieve
the submitted material under our name, in electronic, print and
other forms.
- If
you are looking for general help, we will do our best to assist
you in makeing a submission.
- If
you have a simple line drawing that we could use to help illustrate
your tip, you can submit it to us in one of two ways:
- Scan
the drawing and submit it to us as a digital image (GIF, TIF,
or JPEG) in a separate e-mail to [email protected].
Reference the subject of your tip in the body of the e-mail.

- Fax
a drawing of the tip to OAN! Outdoor Tips at (770) 925-4025.
On the cover sheet, reference the subject of your tip. Be
sure to fill out the Tip Submission Form below.
Your
Right To Privacy
We
hate spam (unsolicited commercial e-mail) as much as you do -- maybe
more, because we receive so much of it. Here's our policy:
- We
will not give your name, e-mail address or any other personal
information to a third party without your consent. Period. This
is in keeping with our privacy
policy.
